Intrusive, invasive, upskirt deviants, this lot have painted the pictures to jazz up Getintothis‘ jazzed down diatribes. Here’s what Liverpool’s music snappers thought of 2010.

The last 12 months the army of photographers in them there pits seems to have swelled to bursting.
It may not be practical for those doing the job, but you won’t catch writers like me complaining, as I’m never short of cracking images to accompany reviews.
Whether it’s Sakura‘s tireless trips around the North West, capturing artists from Slayer to Janelle Monae, Matt Thomas being in the right place, at the right time – time and again – or Mark McNulty hopping his way round the Liverpool circuit on one leg carrying four times his own bodyweight, Getintothis is awash with images each and every week.
But what’s been most impressive is the wealth of new talent, Conor McDonnell really shone at Liverpool Sound City, while Anthony Mooney was a constant source of reliability every step of the way during this year’s Liverpool Music Week. Other goodies included Dan King, Tom Lennon and Graeme Lamb.
Then there’s the gaggle of female snappers who’ve applied their passion and taken things to new levels raising their game at every turn; Bido Lito!‘s chief togger Jen Pellegrini, Mina Bihi and Michelle Roberts have all helped bring colour to the pages of this here site throughout 2010.
As always, I’m on the look out for new talent – whether it be a gig, a portrait or simply something worth blogging about. Get involved.
