Scando-Scousers Eye Emma Jedi deliver Places – the first fruits of their debut album.
Eye Emma Jedi, the Norwegian by way of Liverpool, collective have dropped new track Places – the first fruits of their keenly anticipated debut album.
Extensive touring around Europe followed by recording in Spain has culminated in material reflecting their bracing lifestyle and fizzing approach.
Guitarist Alexander Pavelich told Getintothis: ‘After our summer tour last year, we decided it was time to focus on a debut album. Andrew’s (lead guitar) mom was on holiday visiting some relatives outside Marbella, and she found the perfect house for us to record in.
‘We drove down a lorry with all our gear and spent 100 days to write, produce and record the album ourselves. We’re currently finishing up the mixes, and Places is the first taste of what’s to come. The album is expected around early autumn.‘
More European dates are in the pipeline while Places is out April 26.
