Arctic Monkeys pay tribute to late Lou Reed in Liverpool.

The Arctic Monkeys paid tribute to Lou Reed, who died on Sunday aged 71, with a cover of Walk On The Wild Side at the Liverpool Echo Arena last night.
The Arctics were performing in Liverpool as part of their current UK tour when they covered the track, which became Reed’s signature song when it was released as a single from his 1972 solo record Transformer.
Much of Arctic’s setlist focused on new album AM (tipped for the Mercury Prize this week), opening with the alluring Do I Wanna Know before peppering the latter half of the set with instant classics including You Look Good on the Dancefloor.
Returning for an encore including R U Mine?, they paid tribute to the Reed with this stunning cover of Walk on the Wild Side.
