The Getintothis’ Jukebox

As the temperature outside gets colder, Getintothis’ Gaz Jones brings you a selection of killer new tunes to keep you warm on these long and dark winter nights.

Welcome to the latest Getintothis jukebox, a continuing series that brings together some of our favourite songs from the best emerging talent on the Liverpool scene.
For your pleasure, we’ve also included some cuts by artists set to strut the stages of Liverpool in the coming weeks as well as a few other gems that have caught our recent attention.
Helping us this time is Armen Starfish from The Fire Beneath The Sea. His selection is Rumjig‘s track Ego Bow Down
“Everything about this song is amazing. It switches style beautifully throughout and the different instrumental textures are all used to fantastic effect, top work on the production indeed.
Asides from that, the message of the lyrics is particularly poignant and bewitching, and the vocals are SO lush.

The Fire Beneath the Sea

From the North West we have hot new tracks from jangly young turks Circa Waves, brooding indie saviours Moats and Manchester‘s latest guitar heroes, Blossoms.
We’ve also included the hotly anticipated and gospel-tinged Warriors from Esco Williams, providing evidence that he’s back and means business.
Celebrating the diversity of the Liverpool live music scene, we’ve included selections by Rodhad, the legendary Peter Gabriel in eager anticipation of his Echo Arena concert and Saint Saviourahead of her Kazimier gig alongside Bill Ryder Jones. From the far north of the UK, we’ve also included a pick from Neon Waltz, one of Scotland‘s most exciting new bands.
From further afield we showcase new tracks from Selena Gomez and Pusha T. Completing the list is Daughter‘s fantastic new remix of Warpaint‘s Winter.
