Bad Breeding at Sound City 2015

As Club EVOL announce the latest additions to FestEVOL’s whopping line up, Getintothis’ Adam Lowerson has the scoop.

Club EVOL have announced the latest additions to an already impressive FestEVOL line up including Bad Breeding, Dogshow’s Invisible Wind Factory show and Bill Ryder Jones. The event, which takes place at the Kazimier on August 1 and August 8, will feature headline performances from Dave McCabe and the Ramifications, The Tea Street Band, All We Are plus a whole host of other Merseyside acts.

Amongst the additions are Spectral Chorus and Tiger Tribe, two new acts brought to the festival by Skeleton Key Records, a label launched by the Coral’s James and Ian Skelly. Both acts will perform on the first weekend of the festival, on August 1.

Joining the likes of Spring King, Gulf and Sugarmen on August 8, it has also been revealed that a new performance space will be used, in the warehouse previously known as the Arts Academy. The room will see a specially commissioned piece of music performed by Bill Ryder Jones and the Immix Ensemble as an one off exclusive for FestEVOL.

Rounding off the events in the Arts Academy will be Dogshow, who are set to bring their spectacular and unique Invisible Wind Factory show to bring the festival to a stunning close. The venue will also host a photographic exhibition by Michelle Roberts and an EVOL gig poster retrospective. Alongside this, Sam Wiehl and Venya Krutikov have designed an AV spectacular to run throughout the evening.

Following their chaotic and much raved about performance at this year’s Sound City festival, explosive punk rockers Bad Breeding are set to tear up the Kazimier Garden by also joining the line up on August 8. Other new additions to this day include GIT Award 2015 nominee Esa Shields and rising psychedelic stars Holy Thursday.

Tickets for FestEVOL are available now online and from Probe Records.
