Brooklyn’s meteoric MC Joey Bada$$ is all set upon bringing World Domination as Getintothis’ Craig MacDonald brings the details of the rapper’s return to Liverpool.
Following the release of his critically acclaimed debut album B4.DA.$$ earlier this year, November will see the return of one of the most solid MC’s in the game when Joey Bada$$ returns to Liverpool to play the O2 Academy on November 12 as part of his World Domination Tour.
It will be the first time that the rapper has played the city since his debut UK show back in 2012 when he teared up The Shipping Forecast.
Seen by many as one of the most thought-provoking prodigious young rappers of today, his debut LP has seen the Brooklyn MC evolve his pavement-pounding rhymes from his earlier work on Summer Knights to a deeply personal and introspective sound. The intelligent lines and bombastic beats see an artist that truly understands who and what he wants to be.
Honing his skills as the frontman of the Pro Era collective to create the mix tape masterclass that is 1999, Joey Bada$$ is proof that with hard work and dedication, independent hip hop can bring success.
