The modern day folk icon Frank Turner makes a swift return to Liverpool to play his second date in the city in less then a year, when he and The Sleeping Souls play Mountford Hall on Monday night.
Now six albums deep into his nearly decade long solo career, fans may be hoping for some new material as well as some classics at this one.

TOY: The Magnet, November 24
The long wait for the return of Brighton Kraut – shoegaze lovers TOY is finally over, as the quintet head to The Magnet on Thursday evening.
Having just released their blistering new album Clear Shot last month, the group will be treating fans to some of their latest cuts at this one.

Grab your eyeliner and don your best leather jacket, for Friday will see the return of The Sisters of Mercy as the goth legends play the Olympia.
The return of the 80’s rockers will be music to many people ears and we fully expect this show to be packed to the rafters.

Lilium Free Launch Party: 24 Kitchen Street, November 25
Lilium celebrate the release of their debut single Disappear in style down at 24 Kitchen Street this Friday with a free high spirited party. We’ve been told to expect cake, pizza, balloons and smiles as wide as the stage allows.
With Deathly Records label mates OVVLS, soundscape wizards Etches and the promising talents of God On My Right all on offer too, this is one to not pass by on.
Pink Kink
Pink Kink: EBGBS, November 25
Following one of the performances of the event for many attendees at Liverpool Music Week, the rise of Pink Kink shows no signs of slowing down, as they headline EBGBS this Friday.
The group are not one to do things by halves and will have a stellar supporting lineup on the night with HMLTD, Luna and Mary Miller all joining the glitter ball.
Walking On Cars
Walking On Cars: O2 Academy, November 25
Quickly becoming one of the biggest groups in their homeland, Irish quintet Walking On Cars make the step up to the O2 Academy this Friday.
Following a sell out show at the Arts Club on their last visit, we wouldn’t be surprised to see this date follow suit with their growing fan base.

The DIY maestros Yeah Buddy! turn three this week, and to celebrate they are bringing one of the catchiest bands around to Maguire’s in the form of False Advertising.
With Mad King Ludwig & The Mojo Co, Don’t Worry, Lightcliffe, Elevant and Sheepy all set to join the fun, you can bet things are going to get hot and loud quickly here.
Soul II Soul’s Jazzie B
Soul II Soul: Mountford Hall, November 26
R & B legends Soul II Soul last wowed a Liverpool crowd back at the International Mersey River Festival in August and now they’re back with their timeless mixture of funk, soul and reggae at the Mountford Hall.
You can guarantee they’ll bring something to warm the cockles of your heart on a cold November evening.
Bill Ryder-Jones and Peter Guy tussle for the GIT Award cheque
Bill Ryder-Jones: Floral Pavilion, November 26
The prodigal son returns to take the Wirral firmly in his hands this Saturday, as GIT Award winner Bill Ryder-Jones plays a special homecoming at The Floral Pavilion.
Few could come close to the type of year the West Kirby songsmith has had and with By The Sea and Matt Maltese also on offer, this will be a spectacular celebration.
White Lies
White Lies: O2 Academy, November 26
On the back of their recently released fourth albun, Friends, post-punk London trio White Lies head for the O2 Academy on November 26.
It’s their first proper gig in the city for many a year so expect interest to be high and now with a wealth of material at their disposal it promises to be a memorable show.
Primal Scream
Primal Scream: Olympia, November 27
With what must be one of the biggest shows in Liverpool this season, Bobby Gillespie and his merry band of troubadours tread the boards at Olympia on November 27. It’s been a long time since Primal Scream visited the city and this show really promises to be a treat.
With their last album Chaosmosis under their belts and a long line of classic songs to pick and choose from, there’s really no doubt that Primal Scream will see the month off in fine style.

Topping off a special year for them, The Coral play the Olympia on December 10. Reinvigorated and renegergised with an outstanding 2016 album, Distance Inbetween,headline slots at Liverpool Sound City and supporting Stone Roses at the Eithad this summer, then it seems only fitting they return home at the end of the year.
