King Creosote

Following on from his breakthrough 2014 album, King Creosote announces his tour as Getintothis’ Paige Aspinall looks to see what he can bring to Liverpool.

With equal parts self-depreciation, cosmic wonder and seafaring poetry, King Creosote is back with his new album Astronaut Meets Appleman, along with a date at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall next year.

With a total of 40 albums under his belt, we last heard from King Creosote back in 2015 on his Småvulgär album, which summed up his wistful folk-pop perfectly. The Fife, Scottish native, singer has really made a splash in the singer-songwriting scene in Great Britain already.

He’ll be performing a slew of his favourite songs which are always led by him on an acoustic guitar and having the audience right where he wants them. The tour is definitely set to be one of the hottest tickets in town. Big things are on the rise for King Creosote.

King Creosote plays Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall on Friday, January 20, 2017. Doors 8pm. Tickets are on sale now.

His full UK tour is as follows:

January 12: Bogbain Farm, Inverness
