Massive honour for superclub as huge headliner announced for Creamfields, Getintothis’ Craig MacDonald has the scoop.
Legendary superclub Cream has been granted the Freedom of the City of Liverpool, in what kick-starts the 25th celebrations for the clubbing icons.
Having been the world wide leaders for dance music for over a quarter of a century, the brand continues to be at the forefront of the scene as demonstrated by its recent Steel Yard and Classics shows.
With the Creamfields festival also celebrating its 20th anniversary, this year’s first headliner is a gigantic double header, with deadmau5 and Eric Prydz playing together for the first time in the UK exclusively for the event.
After winning Best Major Festival in 2016 at the UK Festival Awards, this announcement may well see them retain their crown when the 2017 winners are announced.
