From Sweden via London, Fatima is set to awaken the Baltic Triangle this Spring time as Getintothis’ Jane Davies finds out.

Swedish soul songstress, Fatima Bramme-Sey is set to bring her unique blend of funk, soul and jazz to Constellations on April 20.

Having worked with the likes of Floating Points and Jamie Cullum, she will be accompanied by the Eglo Live Band, to play at the first Garden Party of 2017 with Madnice Selector as support.

Now resident in London and recording under Floating Points’ and Alexander Nut’s Eglo Label, she has previously collaborated with Dam Funk and producer Funkineven as well as forging ahead with her own solo career.

Why do fools fall in love? – the most important pop song in history

With her main inspiration being taken from the music and rhythms of her West African heritage, along with artists including Aaliyah, Mary J Blige, Rudy Rae Moore and Betty Davis, we would urge you to come along and experience the unique sounds of London’s slow jam underground sensation.
