With the fifth installment of Deep Cuts just around the corner, Getintothis’ Craig MacDonald has all the details for the next episode.

Deep Cuts Live returns to the Buyers Club with its fifth instalment taking place on Thursday June 8.

As with the previous Deep Cuts Live happenings, the forthcoming event hosts some of the finest new  music talent from across the region.

Following support slots alongside GIT Award 2017 winners She Drew The Gun on their latest UK tour, Marvin Powell returns to Liverpool with his spellbinding evocative folk as he gears up to release his new album on Skeleton Key Records later this year.

One of the foremost new collectives in Liverpool’s hip hop scene, 6 Music hypestars Nutribe are guaranteed to bring swell vibes if our 10th birthday celebrations in Constellations early this month were anything to go by.

Having played one of the standout performances at this year’s Threshold Festival, rock & rollers The Jjohns bring their tasty grooves to next month’s event.

With tinges of jazz, soul and hip-hop to her distinctive sound, Gazelle is an artist on many people’s lips counting the likes of BBC 1Xtra among plenty championing her slick urban cuts. Having released her debut EP to wide acclaim, she has gone on to support Soul II Soul and Finlay Quaye while recently being named on LIMF Academy‘s Most Ready bill.
