As the young R&B force Jorja Smith sets out for a sold out tour, Getintothis’ Amaan Khan looks ahead to how it will all pan out.

Garage and R&B prodigy Jorja Smith adds to the reasons to look forward to 2018.

With acts like Nightmares on Wax already lined up for Invisible Wind Factory in February, it was already looking like an interesting start to the year.

Now, Jorja Smith will be gracing the warehouse venue a day before Nightmares on Wax as she performs there on February 8.

The young singer-songwriter showcases influences all the way from Lauryn Hill to Amy WinehouseSmith rose to greater prominence of late with her appearance on Drake‘s album More Life where she sings on Jorja Interlude and Get it Together.

Further on, Smith was featured on recent number 1 single Bridge Over Troubled Water as part of Artists for Grenfell.

If our claims and praises weren’t enough, Smith‘s traction can be substantiated by the fact that all her tour dates have sold out including the extra second date added at London’s O2 Shepeherd’s Bush Empire.

While her Liverpool date also sold out in minutes, fans, no doubt, will be looking at fan-to-fan resales in the meantime.
