Having already announced details of our first night for IVW, this second show features three of the finest solo artists form across the region as they take to the famous Seel Street stage.
Regular readers will know all to well the talents that Ali Horn possesses. His blend of summer kissed psych and melodic fuzz have gained him a swell of praise, with his latest infectious number Bloom being championed by the likes of Steve Lamacq and Janice Long.
With notable turns at Liverpool Psych Fest and Liverpool Music Week, we can’t wait to welcome him to the fold, as he plays new material in a special stripped down set.
Keeping with the intimate feel to the nights proceedings, Emilio Pinchi will bring his mellow blend of acoustic melancholy to The Jacaranda, as he prepares to release his latest single High Times. An ever present fixture throughout Liverpool’s bustling DIY scene, his songwriting continues to blossom as he expands his horizons.
Completing the lineup for our second Independent Venue Week night is the newest act on the bill, Charity Shop Pop.
Blending together experimental waves of indie pop seamlessly into minimalist gems, David Hughes can produce intriguing ambient delicacies that take you on a sonic voyage at the drop of a hat as seen with his latest number, Tropical. It’s this dexterity that has gained him high praise from several BBC Introducing platforms as he continues to cast his inter-dimensional net.
