Gnod, Conan, Spectres and more join Wrong Festival line up in Liverpool



As Wrong Festival announces its full lineup for its freak fest, Getintothis’ Craig MacDonald is on hand with all the details.

Wrong Festival has announced the full lineup for its second year of all things oddball at Liverpool’s Northern Docklands on April 28.

With organisers already announcing Future of the Left, Hey Colossus, Kagoule and Sex Swing for this years lineup, these latest additions are sure to the whet the appetite of many.

Leading the way in the latest additions to the 2018 freak fest, doom metal behemoths Conan make a special return home, while Mancunian noise creators GNOD will bringing one of the finest records of the last twelve months to the fold.

Bristolian decibel crusher Spectres join the melee, while GIT Award nominees Mugstar will perform alongside Damo Suzuki on the night, with Leeds artpunks Bilge Pump, post-punks Thank, math rockers Death and The Penguin, garage rockers Table Scraps and Liverpool’s own feral animals Ohmns all joining the chaos.

Taking place in North Shore Troubadour, Invisible Wind Factory and Drop The Dumbells, this years Wrong Festival aims to offer a full spectrum throughout the scene throughout the day, with noiserock trio Irk, stoner doom clan Buried Sleep and experimentalists Alpha Maid just a glimpse of whats in store.

With Tokyo Taboo, Sons, Lucy Leave, Bisch Nadar, Salt The Snail, Bleach Sweets, Lonesaw, Patchwork Guilt all joining Psyblings, Swearwolves, Elevant, SPQR, Graaves, Kapil Seshasayee, Black Pudding and Nasty Little Loner on the bill, attendees have plenty to get their teeth stuck into this year.
