Phobophobes join new gigs from Queen Zee, The Jackobins and Peach Fuzz, Getintothis’ Roy Gently wraps up a busy start to the year.

Apocalyptic garage rockers Phobophobes have revealed a spring date in Liverpool.

The dark psychedelia heads bring debut album Miniature World (out on Ra-Ra-Rok Records on January 26) to the Shipping Forecast on Thursday March 15 courtesy of Harvest Sun Promotions.

Citing Wall of Voodoo, Joe Meek and Leonard Cohen via Monty Python as influences this one’s bound to be a trip.

UPDATE: Deltasonic rock and rollers Psycho Comedy and rising space-rockers Pale Rider have been added to the Phobophobes bill – watch the latter’s debut video here.

Meanwhile, Liverpool garage-punk outfit Queen Zee and The Sasstones continue to spread their glitter-covered chaos with their latest live outing at Sound on Saturday January 26.

Fellow Liverpool rock and rollers The Jackobins make their 2018 debut at EBGBs on Wednesday January 31 and Skeleton Key signed Peach Fuzz and The Mysterines follow up their sold out Sound date with a February 3 date at EBGBS.

A hat-trick of bands play promoter Capeesh‘s latest show at Sound on January 26 including dream-pop The ShardsThe Difference and headliners Monks.

Meanwhile, She Drew The Gun will headline London’s Omeara on January 26 as part of the NME Awards Shows.

The GIT Award 2017 winners are currently working on their second album, slated for release Summer 2018.

Finally, God On My Right and Lo Five have been added to the support bill for Moon Duo‘s gig at District on February 2.

God On My Right featured at Getintothis‘ ten year billing at North Shore Troubadour in November and have just revealed the video to their track Not So Young, see the video below. Lo Five, meanwhile, enjoyed a fruitful 2017 with his Wire-tipped album When It’s Time To Let Go.
