As Nottingham’s alternative trio Eyre Llew plan their atmospheric visit to Liverpool, Getintothis’ Helen Rabbitt provides us with a treat.

At the end of 2016, Sheffield’s Outlines Festival dropped their first wave of acts and included was the brilliant and splendid, Eyre Llew.

The three piece ambient rock band are most definitely an act you should keep your eyes fixed on in the next twelve months. To make that process a lot easier, Sam, Jack and Jack are gracing the newly, cosy HUS venue with a live set on Friday March 31. We don’t half help you out with these fresh sounds.

Don’t worry we have everything you need to know about the newly opened HUS

The trio have previously released an impressive nine singles, including the hauntingly beautiful Fero which echoes the soothing atmosphere of Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool. They are also being featured on playlists from the likes of BBC Introducing and Drowned in Sound, so their visit to Merseyside is definitely one not to be missed.

If that ripe ambiance is still not fresh enough for you then added into the mix for the night is the infectious synth – pop five piece, Hicari who prior to HUS are playing our very own Deep Cuts! Freshest of the fresh.

Still wanting more? How about a sprinkle of a naturally gifted, electro – pop singer songwriter in the form of Luke Cusato? Liverpool based Cusato mixes velvet beats with pure emotion, perfect soothing support for the exquisite Eyre Llew.

  • Eyre Llew play HUS with support form Hicari and Luke Cusato on Friday March 31. Tickets £4 otd. Doors 7:30pm
