Getintothis LIVE: watch Liverpool music and culture debate chat show three times a week – full schedule, listings and guests

Getintothis Live – music and culture discussion

Getintothis LIVE is following up a successful launch week with the confirmation of some special guests, Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley has the confirmed listings.

Join members of the Getintothis team as we go live using Zoom streamed to Facebook for a short discussion on the latest news, music features and round the web chat.

Hosted by Getintothis sub editor, writer and former Edge Hill University director of corporate communications, Roy Bayfield, we’ll be going live a few nights a week at 8pm with an informal discussion show on all things music, culture and debate.

Roy will be joined by Getintothis editor Peter Guy and other guests from our team of sub-editors, writers and photographers as we discuss music and culture during what is a turbulent time.

Getintothis are delighted to confirm that Sound City boss Becky Ayres will be joining us to discuss the festival and more on Wednesday, April 15.

She’ll be joined by Walton singer songwriter Aimee Steven, who is signed to Liverpool’s Jacaranda Records having just released her latest single Hell Is A Teenage Girl.

Steven is a Getintothis favourite having played our Deep Cuts gig at Phase One and featuring in our artists to watch for 2020.

Martha Goddard of indie pop outfit Hushtones will also be online to chat all things music and more. on Getintothis LIVE.

Liverpool troubadour Ali Horn is another artist confirmed to be joining us, he’ll pop online this Saturday, April 18.

A popular figure in the city, Ali has gone from busker to recording artist in view of music lovers from his regular slots in the Kazimier Garden and recent streaming performances from his thirteenth floor flat.

We’ll also be joined by Carl Hunter of legendary Liverpool band The Farm on the same evening as well as promoter and the coolest hairdresser and fashion head on the block Kelly Ensor.

On Monday, April 20, Bernie Connor will be our guest on Getintothis LIVE, and we look forward to perhaps some tales of old and his take on music right now.

Looking ahead, Pixey will join the team on Wednesday, April 22.

Pixey was the first ever artist we featured in our Deep Cuts new music columns and is another favourite of ours, having played the 10th year anniversary of Getintothis at the GIT Award 2017.

On Monday, April 27, LUNA will sit down with us following the release of her debut EP Hello Earth.

LIMF Academy alumnus, LUNA recently performed for Smithdown Road festival‘s streamed show, so here’s hoping we can persuade her to give us a tune.
