With the indie rockers set to bring their latest album tour to a close in Liverpool, Getintothis’ Craig MacDonald has the scoop.
White Lies have announced that their UK tour this Autumn will end with a date at Liverpool’s Mountford Hall on October 14.
The date will bing to a close the group’s touring for 2017 in support of their fourth album Friends, with many heralding the band’s latest release for its post punk tinges and huge encasing sounds throughout the ten tracks.
This date will mark a swift return for the trio and please their loyal army of fans. Having played to a capacity crowd at their last outing on our shores in the O2 Academy, they are set to join the gargantuan Liverpool Sound City bill this summer before embarking on a run of dates, ending on our doorstep later this year.

With no news yet of their future plans to the follow up of Friends, this may well be the last time we get to see the group for some time and one not to be passed upon. Let’s hope the wait is not too long!
