With a host of stellar names set to entertain Sound City citizens from dusk till dawn, Getintothis’ Craig MacDonald reveals the full new line up.
Getintothis and Liverpool Sound City have teamed up to bring a series of exclusive late night sets to this years festival, taking place at the Invisible Wind Factory on 27-28 May.
Both sets of parties will be an added bonus for tickets holders to this years already bustling lineup, with each night boasting exceptional acts across each night to keep revelers going way into the wee small hours of the morning.
Saturday will post-punk mercenaries RongoRongo kick off proceedings, followed by the rising talents of indie upstarts Sugarmen, while the electro wizardry of London duo Formation will supercharge all who are in their presence down the docklands venue.
The first set of Getintothis Late Night parties at Sound City will also see the debut performance of YOTA, the new project from Jamie Reynolds of The Klaxons and Jeff Wootton of Gorillaz, in what is sure to be a tantalising proposition for all. Following the duo will be the sublime delights of Marnie, with the Ladytron songstress set to play new cuts from her forthcoming sophomore Strange Words And Weird Wars.

Kicking the party off on Sunday with their enchanting gypsy soaked vibes will be Mamatung, who are joined by the soul bearing sound of John Joseph Brill at the Invisible Wind Factory happening, while the vibrant stylings of SLANG will make his Liverpool debut as he gears up to release his debut EP next month.
Rounding out proceedings on Sunday, Zuzu will be back on home soil as she continues to turn heads with her soothing sounds before Aristophanes brings her far east lyrical assaults to the party. With both nights being taken into the dawn by set from DJ Growls too, this is the place to be to round off your Sound City experience this year.
