Some of the finest songwriters these parts have to offer gather for a benefit gig in Hoylake for musician David Picken.

Wirral’s finest singers and songwriters take to the stage this Saturday in Hoylake.
The Coral‘s James Skelly, The Sand Band, Neville Skelly and rising stars The Sundowners will all perform sets to help raise money for popular local musician, David Picken.
Picken, who has played alongside the likes of Bill Ryder-Jones and Neville Skelly, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour and the gig aims to raise funds to help him with his fight.

Acoustic duos TJ & Murphy and Only Child will be crossing the water to perform, too, with the full line-up being finalised shortly. There’ll be a raffle and an auction as well.
The Bob Picken Campaign is on June 23, 2pm at The Coda Maine, Market Street, Hoylake. Tickets: £5, available from The Coda Maine in Hoylake on 0151 632 6789.
