As Skeleton Key Records trio Cut Glass Kings share trippy visuals for new single Only A Daydream, Getintothis’ Jake Marley looks at the story so far.
The band are one of the latest to be taken under the wing of James Skelly, frontman of The Coral and a key cog in the wheel of Skeleton Key Records. Skelly has been at the helm during the bands recording sessions and recently invited them out to support The Coral on a few dates, alongside labelmates The Sundowners and Marvin Powell.
Only A Daydream follows Drifter as the second single to be taken from the bands debut album, expected out later this year.
Teaming a Supergrass enthused, 90s brit-pop edge with the straight up psych-rock of their birth, Cut Glass Kings are onto a winner, even if the trippy visuals give you a headache.
