With a stellar dose of electronic delights set to hit Liverpool this week, Getintothis’ Anthony Wharton is left in a state of frenzy for its arrival.

Resident Advisor have launched a string of nationwide shows in collaboration with four of the UK’s most forward-thinking promoters, including Liverpool based Abandon Silence as they hit Buyers Club on March 30.

Alternate Cuts offers fans a chance to see some of the world’s leading electronic artists perform rare genre-crossing sets from the depths of their record collection.

This week’s event will see house and techno veteran KiNK perform a hardcore breakbeat/jungle DJ set for Abandon Silence in Buyer’s Club. KiNK’s live sets have become legendary of late, winning him the accolade of RA’s #1 Live Act for the last two years.

This isn’t the first time that the Bulgarian artist has deviated away from his trademark sound. Last year he played a widely celebrated drum and bass set with Goldie at Horizons festival.

After that success, it’s no surprise that tickets for this event are in high demand; it is a rare chance to delve into the deeper side of one of the most talented contemporary electronic musicians.

Support on the night comes from GIT Award nominee OR:LA, the Meine Nacht co-founder who is quickly rising through the ranks of the underground music with her innovative and versatile DJ sets. Also on the bill is long-standing Abandon Silence resident and owner Andrew Hill for what should be a capacity crowd.
