Strange Waves crowd
As Manchester’s fresh psych fest unveils its lineup, Getintothis’ Amaan Khan wishes it to follow suit with last year’s success.
Strange Waves left us wanting more of it last year, and now has returned as Strange Waves II to fulfil our wishes.
Last year’s edition saw acts like Shame, The Wytches, The Parrots and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard deliver energetic live sets to a packed venue with their on-point live performance skills and rock ethos.
Parquet Courts on human performance, classic rock and The Velvet Underground
The second edition of the festival will attempt to live up to those crazy proportions with Parquet Courts coming all the way from across the ocean to headline the night. Accompanying them will be Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Ultimate Painting, Omni, Nap Eyes and Laurel with DJ sets from Bad Vibrations, Jeff O’Toole and Strange Waves.
With the buzz from its last year’s success and the tried tested acts on its lineup, Strange Waves II‘s glorious success seems more than likely.
