Yes have announced a half century tour for 2018 and Getintothis’ Dan Bundy has all the information.

Next year, rock band Yes turns fifty years old. That in itself is a monstrous achievement.

Yet having been active since before some people’s parents were born, playing countless shows and creating an enormous back catalog along the way, entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame might seem to some like the right time to call it a day. Not for Yes.

Starting in March 2018, the prog rock mainstays play ten UK dates to celebrate their mammoth career and in the process, draw on over fifty years of tastes, trends, sound experimentation and live performance experience to play a handful of unmissable shows.

Twin Peaks The Return – the final verdict

If you’re looking for a well-played rock show with a broad sound, you can’t ask for much more. If you’re a Yes die-hard, along with a selection of classics from over the decades they’ll be playing sides 1 and 4 of Tales From Topograhic Oceans. Despite each song being roughly twenty minutes long the album reached Number One in the UK Album Charts. Truly, a testament to immense musicianship and craft.

The Liverpool gig is in the Philharmonic Hall and is sure to be a sell out. Tickets are on sale now.

Their UK 2018 Tour Dates are as follows:
March 13: Bristol, Colston Hall
March 14: Sheffield, City Hall
March 16: Glasgow SEC Armadillo
March 17: Manchester, Bridgewater Hall
March 18:  Gateshead, The Sage
