RongoRongo and many more are to play at the launch party of special exhibition and Getintothis’ Lauren Wise has the details of what promises to be a special night.

Liverpool Music Week has teamed up with Meshuggy and Screenadelica to bring Liverpool a night of experimental music while marking the launch of an ‘alternative exhibition’.

Saturday October 28 will see the opening of a week-long exhibition and marketplace of rare and collectible gig posters.

The launch night, titled Endless, promises to transform Constellations from the live music venue as you know it, creating a space filled with projection installations and psychedelic patterns.

Six-piece Merseyside-based band Rongo Rongo will headline the evening, while the other acts on the bill are as equally experimental.

Alongside them will be Iron Witch, Super Fast Girlie Show, Avenging Force, Bad Meds, Mums, Jazzhands and Real Terms.

The exhibition, which will run from October 28 until  November 4, will also include a specially curated poster installation along the theme of ‘Endless’.
