Jane Weaver to support Public Service Broadcasting on UK tour

Public Service Broadcasting announce a Spring 2018 tour and have excellent news for Jane Weaver fans, as Getintothis’ Cath Bore reports.

Following the release last year of the critically acclaimed album Every Valley, Public Service Broadcasting hit the road again this April, and welcome Jane Weaver as main support.

Weaver’s Modern Kosmology long player rode high in most best of 2017 albums lists, and as  J. Willgoose, Esq. of the PSB says, ‘(it) was one of my favourite albums of 2017 so we’re really happy that Jane is joining the bill. I’m sure our audiences will really enjoy her music.’

On the run up to the Public Service Broadcasting dates, she will be supporting Belle and Sebastian on the second half of their european tour in February.

Jane Weaver released an new EP, The Architect, in October.

Public Service Broadcasting ‘s Every Valley, which followed earlier albums 2013’s Inform – Educate – Entertain, 2015’s silver-certified The Race For Space,  chronicled the rise and devastating fall of the Welsh mining industry, and featured collaborations with Tracyanne Campbell of Camera Obscura, The Manic Street PreachersJames Dean Bradfield, instrumental trio Haiku Salut and Lisa Jên Brown of 9Bach, as well as the Beaufort Male Choir.
