Professor Green’s upcoming tour has been a long time coming and Getintothis’ Megan Walder shares the ins and outs of what it took to get to this point.
The cancellation of Professor Green‘s (aka Stephen Manderson) February 2019 tour is something that no one could foresee.
Fracturing vertebrae in his neck just hours before his first show at the Globe (Cardiff), Green had not one, but three seizures.
He credited the NHS staff and luck for being the reason he wasn’t worse off than the fractures he had obtained.
His promise to return in the winter has been kept and in support of his forthcoming album, M.O.T.H, he has announced 11 shows.
It will be his fourth full length album, breaking through with his debut album back in 2010. Alive Till I’m Dead featured Lily Allen and Example on guest vocals as Green became one of the UK’s most talked about rap artists.
It’s been less than straightforward since then, though, but following on from his 2018 single Photographs ft. Rag n Bone Man, Green recently released Matters of the Heart, his new track from the upcoming album.
M.O.T.H is due for release next month.
Fans can’t get enough, and neither can we at Getintothis.
His tour is set to run from November 16 to November 28 with tickets on sale from Friday, 2 August.
