Life At The Arcade

Craig Finn and The Uptown Controllers will play Phase One as Red Rum Club sell out, Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley with the news this Sound City week.

One of Liverpool’s fastest rising bands, Life At The Arcade, will play their biggest hometown show yet at O2 Academy.

Having just returned from a UK tour, amidst the release of their new single Tabloids. On their Fake News Tour, they played Liverpool’s District and Jimmy‘s in Manchester as well as dates in Glasgow, London and Sheffield.

The band will headline the venue that saw them support Red Rum Club in their huge hometown date last year.

This time, the stage is theirs and the date is set for Saturday, November 23.

Elsewhere in gigs this week, Craig Finn and The Uptown Controllers will play at Phase One later this year.

The Minneapolis artist has this week released his new album, I Need A New War and will play on Seel Street on Saturday, October 19.

Sea Girls will play a Liverpool date on their UK tour this Autumn, with a gig at the O2 Academy 2.

The indie four piece will come to town on Friday, October 18.

A last bit of gig news this week, fans of the aforementioned Red Rum Club have snapped up tickets for their show later this year at O2 Academy. The gig has sold out five and a half months ahead of time.

Our new tune this week comes from RHINO, who has dropped the second single Dream from his new EP The Leopard Dilemma featuring the UK rap duo Too Many T‘s.

The beat was made in the south of France, written in London, recorded in Australia, filmed in Amsterdam and released in Lyon, but you can watch it right where you are below.
