Getintothis kicks off a series of DJ mix sets at Topman in Liverpool on Saturday.
The last time we did a DJ set it was for my girlfriend’s nieces’ eighth birthday party. It was also my first.
Quite clearly there’s several high powered fashionistas frequenting children’s parties these days, as those sharp dressed types at Topman have been in touch and asked Getintothis to spin some records at their Liverpool branch on Church Street this Saturday (1-3pm).
Regular readers may have an inkling of what to expect, however, as well as throwing in a dose of killer new tracks, I’ll be adding some forgotten gems and a fair sprinkling of Liverpool’s finest new talent along the way too.
Any musicians or bands that wish to drop off a few promos on the day feel free to do so. I may be able to throw them into the set. If not, and we like what’s on em, you can be sure you’ll hear back or be featured on Getintothis in some capacity.
