US duo Buke & Gase promise a feast of noise and other-worldly aesthetics at the Kazimier this month.

American DIY chameleons Buke & Gase bring their odd and addictive brand of music to the Kazimier Garden with a free show on Thursday August 15.
The duo, aka Arone Dyer and Aron Sanchez, are known for their use of home-made instruments; the “toe-bourine;” the “buke,” a six-string former-baritone ukulele; and the “gase,” a guitar-bass hybrid.
Their latest LP, General Dome, was released in January and captured the imagination of many a listener.
Critically-acclaimed and with a fine line in out of control riffing, other-worldly noise and nuanced melody, Buke & Gase are not to be missed.
Support comes from veritable supergroup The Harlequin Dynamite Marching Band.
The collective features members of Stealing Sheep, Barberos, a.P.A.t.T., King Twit, The Wizards of Twiddly, The Weave, Dead Hedge Trio, The Long Finger Bandits, Sing For Your Supper, White Blacula.
With a single out on Kazimier Records, Jonah, expect good times and whacked-out grooves from this most intriguing of groups.
DJ Isocore, one of the founder members of UpItUp Records, will be on hand to supply his usual high-quality mixes.
More info for this event can be found here.
