With support continually growing, Fickle Friends make their way to Liverpool with their UK tour early next year, Getintothis’ Nick Maw gets the lowdown.
Whatever your musical guilty pleasure, and however much you don’t want anyone to know about it, chances are it’s something sickeningly upbeat and wildly catchy.
Fickle Friends give us songs as sugary and energetic as your guiltiest pleasure, but they’re nothing to be ashamed of talking about. Well structured, well produced and, most of all, well performed, their songs urge you to play them over and over.
After amassing close to 2 million Soundcloud plays and a slot at Radio 1’s Big Weekend last year, you really do get the feeling that the Brighton band are close to making it big.
Early 2016 sees Fickle Friends embark on a relentless UK tour, playing almost a show a night for over a month. They will arrive in Liverpool on 16th February to play at Studio 2.
With the recent release of new single Say No More – a potential song of the summer come early – Fickle Friends are more than set to make 2016 their year.
