Paul Weller embarks on a 2017 UK tour that stops by Liverpool’s Guild of Students and Getintothis’ Amaan Khan gives us the details.

Few artists manage to define the genre they dwell in.

Among those few, The Jam shines radiantly for defining the mod revival culture and arguably, 70s Britain too. The voice of band was ‘the Modfather’ Paul Weller.

If his work with The Jam was all of Paul Weller‘s legacy, he would still be considered a legend, however, Weller went on to to head The Style Council before settling into a stable solo career.

In 2017, Weller will embark on a UK tour, his first since 2015, along with a special live show at Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust. The tour stops by Liverpool’s Guild of Students on April 9.
