Commemorating the first anniversary of The Purple One’s death, Getintothis’ Rich Furness reports on a night of dance music sex romance at Buyers Club.

We are now hurtling towards the first anniversary of the death of Prince Rogers Nelson, aka, the greatest musician of all time, and the wounds have still not healed.

In commemoration, Getintothis is teaming up with Buyers Club and a host of the city’s biggest Prince fans to gather on the anniversary of his untimely passing, and celebrate his life in the only way he would have approved; by dancing, singing and going crazy.

Last year’s gathering at the Buyers Club bar shortly after his death was nothing short of legendary, and saw many of the city’s biggest Prince fans gather to bring the roof down to a night filled with nothing but the great man’s music.

We have gathered some of the cities most notorious Prince fans to help guide us through five hours of non stop purple goodness, so as well as all the hits, you can be assured you will also hear some of the best deep cuts and obscurities.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of last year’s event we’d advise you to get there early and we have lots of treats and surprises in store to help us celebrate his life in a suitable and respectable fashion.

We are fully encouraging everyone to dress up in purple, or even as the great man himself!
