The Specials

SPINN reveal UK tour, Calva Louise to play Phase one and Liverpool date and track from Calva Louise, Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley with the news.

The legendary Specials will play Liverpool’s Eventim Olympia next year as part of their Encore 40th Anniversary Tour.

Formed in 1977, they went on to become pioneers of the UK ska movement, recording seven studio albums over four active spells.

They recorded seven consecutive UK Top 10 singles between 1979 and 1981, making them one of Britain’s most iconic bands.

They last played the venue in 2016, and will return on Saturday, April 27.

Jetta

GIT Award nominee, singer, songwriter and producer Jetta has been chosen by All Saints to support them on their UK tour this December.

Jetta is already building a serious cult following with over 200 million YouTube views and 100 million plays on Spotify alone to her name, capping a milestone year by receiving an RIAA Gold Disc for her track I’d Love To Change The World.

The tour includes dates in Glasgow, London and Leeds as well as a night at Manchester Academy on Saturday, December 8.

After a sell out show at O2 Academy in September SPINN will play Arts Club in February.

The Liverpool band will play their hometown as part a six date UK tour which sees them play London’s The Old Blue Last with Dork magazine.

They released their latest single, Bliss on Modern Sky UK earlier this month.

Raucous Dublin outfit The Murder Capital will embark on their debut full UK tour, which will start with a date at EBGBS.

They’ll be joined on Thursday, January 31 with support from Lemonade Fix.

Electric Six

Dick Valentines band of Detroit brothers, Electric Six are back in Liverpool for a very special one off show next May.

The six piece, who have a total of 18 studio albums to their name, will play Arts Club on Saturday, May 18.

Denio have announced details of their latest single, These Words Repeat, which will be released on November 23. The band will play at Getintothis’ Deep Cuts – Christmas Carnage on Thursday, December 6.

Following the release of their album RhinocerosCalva Louise will play Phase One on Friday, March 8.

The video for their new track, I Heard A Cry, has just been released. Shot and directed by Georges Hauchard-Heutte with Louison Mellec and Pierre Abramovicz-Fontbonne and animated by Marion Nail, you can view it below.
