Sleep Token set for UK tour including Liverpool Arts Club date

Sleep Token

As Sleep Token announce a UK tour for January, including a date at Liverpool Arts Club, GetintothisNedim Hassan looks ahead to what looks set to be an unmissable event.

Fresh from an extensive US tour, the mysterious Sleep Token will embark on a series of UK dates later this month, including a date at Liverpool’s Arts Club.

Little is known about this masked, anonymous set of musicians, other than their commitment to an ancient deity known as ‘Sleep’.

Their enigmatic leader, Vessel, has indicated in existing interviews that their mesmerizing brand of cinematic post-rock combined with metal is a means of serving this deity.

One thing that is certain, given the depth of their debut album offering, Sundowning, and the immense impact it had during last year, these are shows that will be unmissable.

During their short career to date, the collective have already performed at Reading and Leeds Festival, Download and The Great Escape.

They even performed a Maida Vale Radio 1 session prior to the release of their first album.

However, be warned, if you want to experience this unique act then get your tickets early; every one of Sleep Token’s previous headline shows has sold out.
