Findlay took down the Korova with a typically acerbic and loud display, Getintothis’ Gaz Jones caught a new feisty young pop star in the making.
Findlay is far removed from the usual solo female template.
She eschews the typecast tenderness normally reserved for and utilised by any of the array of chart-bothering female acts, instead bringing forth acidic verses complemented by a devestating garage rock crunch.
Having made a raft of new fans after a great set at Liverpool Sound City 2013, Findlay returned to the city at the Korova to give a glimpse of what some of you will have missed first time around.
Getintothis’ Gaz Jones positioned himself down the front to capture Findlay and support The Thespians, who support Stephen Langstaff tonight at East Village Arts Club, from 7.30pm.
