Dauwd brings the flavour of Berlin to Liverpool for the first in a series of events at The Magnet, Getintothis’ Ste Knight has a taste of what is to come.
Dauwd has been making waves on the dance scene for several years now. Having signed to electronic music label, Ghostly International, it is easy to see why everyone is making such a fuss of this young prodigy.
His productions sit on the more ethereal side of the dance sphere, making for plenty of dreamlike moments throughout his tracks. Dauwd‘s music is complex, layered and certainly exhibits a maturity beyond his years.
Kicking off a brand new series of events, The Magnet host a bank holiday special as Dauwd performs at the venue for a free show on Saturday, April 30.
He’s joined by Abandon Silence DJs, Jess Doyle, Gavin Kendrick, Yasmin & Callum Cairns.
