Liverpool five-piece The Jackobins have today exclusively revealed their new single Waiting On The Sun.
With a sell out UK tour posted, the band are set to return to Liverpool for a homecoming gig at Liverpool Calling in July.
The new single reunites the band with producer Al Groves of The Motor Museum and multi-award winning engineer Robin Schmidt (Paul Weller, The Black Keys, Two Door Cinema Club).
Slick and meaty, Waiting On The Sun, teams singer Dominic Bassnett‘s powerful tones with pop-infused keys and jangly riffs from lead guitarist Veso.
The track has a distinctly summer feel about it, bright and breezy with uplifting vocals almost unrecognisable from the darker tones of their previous Ghosts EP. The single is available for pre-order now with a release date set for June 30.
