Following a belting set at Stealing Sheep’s Mythopoeia, Getintothis’ Lowri Gronow looks ahead to PINS’ 2016 Liverpool return.

Liverpool O2 Academy 2 is set for an evening of grunge guitar and non-stop dancing as PINS return to Merseyside as a part of their UK tour, calling in Liverpool on February 16.

The four-piece, from the heart of Manchester, have been on a round-the-clock mission to offer us an alternative take on the modern girl band. Forget about the fake tan and heels, and say hello to heavy docs and ripped jeans.

Bringing a DIY attitude, these self-taught musicians conjure the spirit of modern punk. With influences such as The Jesus and Mary Chain, and vocals that echo the likes of Patti Smith, expect a gig that will provide unapologetic music guaranteed to get the crowd dancing and the floor shaking.
