New York indie rockers Drowners embark on a tour following their second album release, Getintothis’ Amaan Khan shines a light.

Welsh boy Matt Hitt moves to New York and gets in a band that makes it to the record company of ex-Kaiser Chiefs drummer. Sounds like a story that fuels pop and indie dreams.

Drowners’ sound adheres exactly to those values their story resonates. Pop catchy choruses of velvety vocals and indie rock driving rhythm sections with them fiery guitar solos.

Their command over the upbeat style was evident when they released their debut  with the record label that signed the likes of  Passion Pit. They grew even more comfortable with that sound in their recently released second album entitled On Desire.
