Manchester’s festival scene appears to be in the middle of a boom currently, with Stay Fresh the latest addition to the party.

This coming Saturday September 24 Manchester’s Deaf Institute will play host to two floors of music featuring some of the most exciting emerging acts from the North West and further afield. Pitched as an inaugural event with more to follow they’re going all out with some free drinks on offer too.

Top of the bill are Leeds’ three-piece Cowtown who’ll be peddling their brash over-stimulated indie rock and celebrating the recent release of their new album Paranormal Romance.

Alongside them are Glasgow’s Catholic Action, who take a sinister glam sound and compliment it with perfectly appropriate quirky vocals.

Manchester will have a healthy representation with the city’s newest psych rockers by Ethan & The Reformation, the dangerously infectious Shaking Chains and Kyotoya,

Getintothis’ favourites Peaness and Pink Kink will be bringing their own, yet equally bad-ass, brand of super fun, witty and room brightening sets to the day, almost odds on to be a highlight of the day and Francis Lung will be joined by a live band, rounding off the events tantalising line up.

Competition Time!

We’ve got two tickets to give away, a couple of pints of Shindigger and even some scran at the event for one lucky winner. If you fancy going and filling up on good music, ale and food then enter our competition by ‘liking’ the Getintothis Facebook page, sharing this post and tagging the mate you’d take with you. Who doesn’t love a bit of free food and drink?
