The Kazimier Christmas single raised funds to help Nepal earthquake victim, Getintothis urges you to support the cause and win a prize.
At the end of 2015 the Kazimier’s creative community got together to collaborate on their very own seasonal single under the name of Liverpool Centre of the Creative Universe, now we’re heading into another festival period This Is The Time aims to help a very special cause in Nepal.
Proceeds from the record sales are needed to help get the Nepal Earthbag House Appeal, run by the Kazimier‘s Laura Brownhill, over their funding line, a fund that when completed, will go to help rebuild the life of Nepal earthquake victim, Maya, and her family.
Maya lives in a remote village in Nepal, where her home was destroyed in last year’s earthquake. Maya also suffers from HIV and has been in failing health of late.
After multiple set backs including land disputes and political interference that prevented supplies entering Nepal from India the project is back on track to build Maya a new house in which she can begin her recovery in a safe and comfortable environment.
The Nepal Earthbag House Appeal and the Kazimier community are now asking for you to support the project by purchasing the single, either by digital download, or on vinyl, which will see all proceeds will go directly to the appeal.
To aid in sharing Maya’s story and the crowdfunding project Getintothis is giving away a limited edition This Is The Time vinyl. All you need to do is share this story so we can raise as much awareness as possible.
To support the Nepal Earthbag House Appeal you can purchase the digital or physical single here. You can also donate direct to the fund here and find out more about the appeal, including ongoing updates.
