The decorations are down, the crackers pulled and the diets started. Yes, the beginning of the year brings with it a fresh calendar of gigs.

With new venues and new acts for all of us to enjoy and explore, there is no time like the present to get your senses around some of the best gigs heading your way, as our first guide of the year proves.
