Getintothis’ Will Neville doffs his cap to British folksters Lau who revisit their debut album in honour of its tenth anniversary on a tour that stops off at an iconic Liverpool venue.

Lightweights And Gentlemen was released on Reveal Records in March 2007, with Lau going on to be named Best Group at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards the following year, and again in 2009.

Led by modern folk legend Kris Drever, they have released four albums to date, most recently 2015’s The Bell That Never Rang, but are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their debut release on their upcoming British tour, including a show at the Music Room of the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.

Accordionist Martin Green and Aidan O’Rourke on fiddle complete the three-man line-up. Their career-spanning compilation Decade (The Best of 2007-2017) was released in June of this year.

Tickets are on sale now for all their British dates, at which they will perform two sets with no support act:
