A new live music night  will soon be upon us and Getintothis’ Mark Rowley has the details.

Four new bands are kicking off a new night at Liverpool’s 81 Renshaw Street on Friday October 20.

SPILT, Gardenback, and Samurai Kip will play the new night, named Capeesh, with a DJ Set from Hail Hail Records.  Tickets are priced £4.

The night promises to be a gloriously steamy affair, featuring psych-grunge punk 3-piece, SPILT from Runcorn as headliners, Oldham garage-psych rockers, Gardenback, and Liverpool’s own freestyle swordsman, Samurai Kip.  A DJ set will be provided by Liverpool independent record label, Hail Hail Records, spinning the very best current vinyl releases, along with a tune or two from yester-year.

The 3 bands on the list all have a new recording to promote: SPILT with Facemelter, Gardenback have Bulldogs out (out on October 13) and Ode To Midnight is the sumptuous new release from Samurai Kip.

Organiser, Capeesh is a not-for-profit, music development CIC based in Liverpool, planning to put on regular nights to showcase new, upcoming acts from Merseyside and the North West. Tickets for this event are limited to 100, cost £4 each and can be purchased in advance from 81 Renshaw Street by messaging @capeeshct, on Capeesh’s Facebook page; or by contacting the bands direct.

Be sure to be there for what promises to be a scintillating night of new music.

EDIT: Sadly Ladies’Darts Night have pulled out of this event as they have decided to hang up their guitars and drums, and call it a day.

Step in Wife, who have joined us at very short notice and are ready to blast you into oblivion! Make sure you get down early for the demolition!
