Heading up the bill are cinematic psychedelic trio Teeth of the Sea alongside percussive mutant droners Gum Takes Tooth and jazz-fuelled experimentalists HOUSEWIVES.

Explaining the concept behind the collective, Dream Machine head honcho, John Lynch told Getintothis: “This performance is dedicated and in loving memory to the one and only Dave Cocks who sadly passed away suddenly a short while ago.

Dave was a very special friend to a great number of people and was a true Rock ’N’ Roll Warrior.

“If you knew Dave or saw him play in Thee Piatcions or Throw Down Bones you will know just how much of an amazing and special person he was.

“So, come celebrate the memory and life of one of the most inspiring people the world has ever known.”

The Dream Machine All-Stars for this performance will be: Jimmy Martin of Teeth of the Sea (guitar), Stephen Lawrie of The Telescopes (guitar), Dom Strett of Manalishi (guitar), Dave Gryphon of The Telescopes and Koolaid Electric Company (bass), Jacques Malchance of Barberos and Up It Up Records (keyboards/drones), Tom Fug of Gum Takes Tooth, Melting Hand and Luminous Bodies (drums), John Lynch of The Telescopes and Koolaid Electric Company (drums), Jussi Brightmore of Gum Takes Tooth (percussion).

Aside from the touring bands, Deeper Cuts will showcase some of the most innovative and experimental music mavericks from Merseyside including thrash metallers VIDEO NASTIES, newcomers Ana MaeDouglas Savage and Aimee Steven, much-tipped noise makers Yammerer, an assortment of Emotion Wave DJs and electronic producers including LO FIVE, Bye Louis and Baron Farg plus Deep Cuts favourites RongoRongo, LONESAW and The Gear.

Elsewhere, Manchester’s Karaoke Dungeon will provide much levity from the mania with a goth-meets-chaotic brand of fun in the small hours in the Stockroom; the Kazimier’s new intimate space at the rear of the Garden.

Emma from Karaoke Dungeon explained: “We have four spots up for grabs for pre-planned performances where the Fat Out crew will dress you up as the star of your choice and give you that stage you were born to be on! Email [email protected] if you want one if these coveted karaoke spots! Just let us know who you want to be, what song you want to sing and we will source the costume and transform.

The Kazimier team will be adding installations in the venues while a DJ selection will include acclaimed Bristol record label Rocket Recordings and the Kazimier’s own KRUKTHRUST.

Finally, alongside the music there will be BBQ in Phase One‘s outdoor area and street food available in the Kazimier Garden.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Wristband collection will be at Phase One – there will be no access without a wristband to Kazimier Garden or Stockroom without a Deeper Cuts wristband.
