Loyle Carner

South London rapper Loyle Carner is touring the UK this autumn, GetintothisWill Neville is looking forward to it, not back.

Loyle Carner released his second album Not Waving, But Drowning in April of this year. It reached #3 in the UK album charts, with The Guardian describing it as “another compellingly intimate listen”.

This was the follow-up to Yesterday’s Gone, which was named as The Independent’s top album of the year back in 2017, as well as garnering two BRIT Award nominations and being put forward for the Mercury Prize.

His six-date UK tour in the spring of this year included a date at The Roundhouse in London, which sold out inside five minutes, while his set at the Glastonbury Festival last month wowed critics and fans alike.

He was last in the North West for a show at Liverpool Sound City in May.

In further support of the new record, Carner is playing his biggest ever headline show when he performs at Alexandra Palace in London as part of a nationwide tour, which also includes North West stop-offs in Liverpool and Manchester.
