Mike Jones of Liverpool rock outfit Vulture Cult has launched a brand new rock compilation in aid of the NHS.

Sustain see bands including Raised By WolvesThree From Above and Reaper come together to create an album with all proceeds going to NHS Charities Together in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

“It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the enormity of the situation, and so we wanted to make sure we were taking some positive action whilst staying at home.” said Mike.

“It’s our attempt to not only provide support for the NHS, but also to stay connected with the local scene in the absence of gigs.”

Mike is part of a team that has put the album together which includes Duncan Morrison, Ste McCarroll, and Andy Hinton (from Vulture Cult), alongside friends Kyle May and Joel Kent.

“Not all of the acts are from Merseyside – SŌMA, one of the bands, is from Boston.

“But all of them have members with a strong connection to the city, and who have been active in the Liverpool gigging scene at some point. We’re incredibly grateful to all the bands for their participation, and their willingness to help.”

Other bands that are included on the album are: Vulture Cult, Last Reserves, Matador, Blind Operator, Dead Rebel, Mr Ted, Red Winter, Scare Tactics, Salt The Snail, Joel Kent, Simon Dale, L/zard.
