The Big Moon will play O2 Academy next year on their UK tour, Getintothis’ Lewis Ridley has exclusive news.

The Big Moon will play Liverpool’s O2 Academy next year.

It comes following a string of dates Pixies as well as an announcement they’ll support Bombay Bicyle Club in early 2020.

But they’ll head on their own headline tour in February, which inclues a date in Liverpool at the O2 Academy on Friday 28.

Their second album Walking Like We Do is to be released in January via Fiction Records with this the band’s first taste of new music in two years.

It follows the Mercury Prize nominated debut Love In The 4th Dimension, which was released in 2017.

Today also sees the launch of new track Take A Piece, which is tonight released as Annie Mac‘s Hottest Record In The World.

It’s premiered tonight (November 19) at 8pm, and you can watch it below.
