Scott Matthews

As Scott Matthews announces his UK tour, Getintothis’ Paige Aspinall looks to see what he is planning on bringing to Liverpool.

With influences ranging from The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin, Scott Matthews is back with his new album, Home (Part 2) and a date at Leaf on March 31.

As the part funk, indie, rock and soul singer attempts to launch his career for a second time, he has certainly gained a serious following across his ten-year career.

Following his 2006 debut album Passing Stranger, the Wolverhampton crooner received a personal invitation from Dave Grohl to support the Foo Fighters on their Skin and Bones tour, while his debut single Elusive saw him win an Ivor Novello award the following year. Not bad for a boy from the Black Country.
